HTKU Willowbend Invisible Hat
My son is now on youtube, and he is only 6, this is scary! He is in the green shirt with blue stripes. His class at school took part in a video production. They learned how to use a video camera, computer editing, sound effects and then of course how to post it online. The educational objective was learning how to storyboard a movie, practice listening skills and acting.

Debbie's 50th B-day
This is Debbie, she is fabulous at 50. It is kind of a tradition to get some kind of stripper or dance performed by a good lookin' person of the opposite sex when you turn 50...maybe it's to make you feel young inside. I had a brilliant idea to have some of our male staff to do a little something for her. They were quite the sports. We picked a Luau theme for her party and had the guys dress up like hula girls - this was not the sexy thing most would expect when having someone dance for them but it was quite a hit with residents and staff at Preston Place. The man in the red wig is one of our residents Alan Waters who is 90 something and full of life. He was happy to join in the fun, in fact I think he enjoyed it a little too much!

Swimming
Today we went to our new Country Club for a swim. We are no longer members at Los Rios which I was kind of sad about because no one is ever at that pool, BUT as you can see no one was at this pool either. I have figured that most people who are members of a club also have their own pools and that's why they don't come. It's good for us, we get the enjoyment and don't have all the hassle of the upkeep/maintenance of one.

The Best Hosts!
Just wanted to let everyone know that my parents Judy and Walt did a wonderful job hosting all the family while they were in town. They made sure everyone was able to have a good time springing for Seaworld Tickets for 10 of us and dinners out. They sure have a way of making things work out including lending the use of their Explorer to the New Zealand gang so they could get to where they wanted. Way to go Mom & Dad - Your the Best!
Note to Evan
I heard you are starting your own Blog, make sure to let me know the address. Also, I need your email address. I don't have it and would love to talk to you!

SeaWorld
Robbie, Blake, Ethan, Brandon & Lizzie all were brave enough to ride this, I'm a big chicken though.

The boys got piggy back rides from Robbie, Brandon & Lizzy.
We were crammed into my Explorer on the way home, note Robbie riding between two carseats in the 3rd row seat, he had only a few inches between the two and mighty uncomfortable - he is such a trooper, you just had to let him know ahead of time if there were any speed bumps.
I Lost my Frist Tooth on Vacation!
The Tooth Fairy finally visited Blake on Vacation. His tooth had been loose for about a month, it was very stubborn, a little like he is. It was all worth it though because she left him $5 whole dollars. That's way more than I got as a kid, I assured him it was only for the first tooth and that you always get more for that one.Monday, July 16, 2007
