Tubing

My favorite day of our vacation was floating down the 'ol Guadalupe River. It was so relaxing, except for the part when you first get in and it feels like 20 below zero and you just know your back end will freeze and break off. Anyway, we went to the part that is called the Horseshoe which took about an hour and a half...we did it 3 times. The pictures here are from a picnic we packed and ate between the rides. Just have to add, the one thing that is also great about vacation with your family is that you don't have to get all beautified for them, I got to hang out all week without make-up. What a treat for me... that is until you look back at the pictures. Who cares, that's why it's called a vacation. Right??? I wish I had taken pictures while on the river but I didn't want to chance dropping my camera in, a good decision since I did fall out of my tube once, I completely dumped over and oh was it ever cold.
