Refinish, Repurpose, Recycle

As people move out of the retirement community, pieces are often left behind that nobody wants. While they may be ugly or broken, I have a hard time seeing them go in the trash. This is a piece that could barly stand it rather rocked when you touched it because the legs were so loose. The top was chipped and water stained. It looked hopeless to say the least. As it turns out the legs just needed to be tighted with the screws underneath, then I just sanded the top and restained it. This picture is after the first coat of stain. I like the idea of the top being a different color than the legs, it brings a little more interest.

This is awesome! I'd love an end table if you find something cute for me to redo.
